Product Description
AR Macro Glass fiber is a "High Performance" Alkali Resistant glass macro fiber, engineered to reinforce against plastic, thermal and drying shrinkage cracking. AR Macro Glass fiber increases flexural strength and ductility, and adds toughness, impact and fatigue resistance to the concrete. AR Macro Glass fiber can be used as secondary reinforcement and in specific applications also as primary reinforcement.
AR Macro Glass fibre disperses quickly and evenly throughout the concrete matrix, because the specific gravity is similar to the aggregates used in concrete. This inherent characteristic of glass guarantees high fiber performance throughout the concrete mass.

Our fibers are manufactured with high Zirconia content in compliance with ASTM C1666/C 1666/M-07 and EN 15422 and under the recommendations of PCI and GRCA.

Estimating Data:
AR Macro Fibre Glass can be introduced in the ready mix plant or directly in the concrete truck in the last stage, when all the aggregates have been added and mixed. Addition rates are dependent on the application and desired performance levels.

Main Applications:
AR Macro Fiber Glass has been specifically designed to replace secondary and primary reinforcement (welded wire reinforcement, light rebar, steel and synthetic fibers) in residential, commercial and industrial slabs-on-ground, compression layers, pavements and precast concrete.

Packing and Storage:
20kg per bag, 690kg/pallet, with plastic film for out packing to protect the pallet,
or packed as request.

AR Macro Glass chopped strands should be stored away from heat and moisture, and in their original packaging. The best conditions are:
• Temperature: 15ºC - 35ºC.
• Humidity: 35% - 65%.
If the product is stored at lower temperatures it is advisable to condition it in the workshop for at least 24 hours before use, to prevent condensation.
