Product Description
PP (Polypropylene) steel - like fibers, also called synthetic steel fibers, have the following main uses and functions:

I. Concrete Reinforcement

  1. Boosted Tensile Strength
    • Added to concrete, they enhance its tensile strength. Concrete is weak in tension, but these fibers bridge emerging cracks. For example, in industrial floor slabs, they distribute tensile stresses, preventing crack widening and increasing the concrete's overall tensile capacity.
  2. Enhanced Flexural Strength
    • They improve the flexural strength of structures like beams and slabs. In a concrete beam, fibers in the tension zone resist bending forces, allowing for the design of lighter yet sturdy structures.
  3. Effective Crack Control
    • During concrete setting, shrinkage can cause cracks. PP steel - like fibers restrain particle movement, reducing crack initiation. In building construction, this preserves the concrete's integrity, preventing water penetration and long - term deterioration.

II. Asphalt Pavement Reinforcement

  1. Prolonged Fatigue Life

Instructions:
The fibres are wrapped with water-soluble film and uniquely packaged in paper boxes.Then throw the whole boxes of fibres into the concrete mixture, the boxes and film then dissolve within seconds, leaving the fibres to disperse evenly throughout the mixture.
